When routers die... 05 Sep 2005

…Things slow down. I blame the thunderstorm we had this morning. Perhaps I’ll get a surge protector this time around. Anyway, dial-up really is shite is it not! Time to get me a new router, and probably a wireless one this time. It’s amazing how one gets used to an always-on, high-speed internet connection at home. I think I miss it far more than I ever would the telly!

  1. No doubt about it, wireless is the way to go. I think this is one of the key enablers of information access in the home. I am thinking about getting one of this Nokia Internet Tablets when they ship (if the price is right) and this will hang off your wireless router too.
