EclipsePlugIn

I use Eclipse more and more, it's splendid. So, why not list some of the plug-ins I've tinkered with -- a good aide memoire for me if no-one else!
  • Domiclipse is a must-have for any Notes / Domino coder who does Java. Domiclipse allows you to code your Java agents, libraries and web services in Eclipse, and then pass the updated code back to your database design. Nice! You can find it on domiclipse.com
  • SubClipse, which can be found at subclipse.tigris.org. An excellent plug-in for working with the Subversion source control system
  • A very good alternative for Subversion integration is Subversive About Subversive Project by Polarion polarion.org. This page may help you to decide, which to use: Why Subversive when Subclipse exists?.
  • Regular Expression Tester. I used to use this a lot, then the plugin became commercial. But I think it's free again now! You could also try...
  • ... QuickREx
  • TimTam?, which can be found at codehaus.org.TimTam? is an alternative front-end to Confluence
  • The Eclipse RSS reader plug-in can be downloaded from Peter Nehrer's site
  • Or you could try this one: All The News
  • Sysdeo's Tomcat plugin is great for starting out with J2EE development on Eclipse: Link
  • I haven't tried this one, but Systinet Developer is a plug-in which lets the developer create, debug & deploy web services, so it sounds pretty nifty
  • A new one! You've heard of Google Codesearch, well how about a plugin for that
  • VSS Plug-in. We have to use Visual SourceSafe? at work. The VSS plug-in for Eclipse works in 3.2.2 just fine for me. Nice plug-in.
