On airports

I don’t fly very often, but when I do, it’s always a shocker, what with the nonsense security guidelines, ludicrous over-crowding, bad time-tabling and disgusting airport environments. I detest BAA for what they’ve done to many of this country’s airports; if you agree, I direct you to the relevant petition (for what it’s worth, in this resolutely apathetic, autocratic nation):

We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to remove the monopoly that BAA has running UK airports.

Update: my bad, I forgot the fuppin’ hat-tip! Thanks Bill.

  1. For 3 consecutive years the airport of Kuala Lumpur (http://www.klia.com.my) has been voted as the best airport of the world. Maybe they should take some inspiration from there for the next airport.
I don't know much about airports. My sister lost all her baggage in a flight back from Namibia. Something like that never happened to me. I would be very angry. Axel#
