Newsfeed graphics

Thumbnail screenshot from Safari showing the new feed iconVolker recently posted about a grass-roots movement to update the familiar XML / RSS button graphics you see here, there, and everywhere. I re-did my icons a couple of weeks back. The new graphic is beautifully simple — I like it very much, as do many others out there.

Some more good news: quicker than you can say “rich site summary”, someone has come up with a way of updating the RSS graphic that appears in Safari when browsing a newsfeed-enabled website. If you click on the thumbnail above, you will see a larger view of the new icon, added-in to Safari courtesy of a utility from the Mac Specialist.
